Scott Richardson, CFP®, AIF®

Scott’s experience ranges over 40 years in the financial services industry. A financial advisor since 1983, his experience encompasses the design and investment education of Qualified Retirement Plans for businesses and individuals, and managing his clients' hard earned investment assets. Scott especially enjoys the creative and collaborative work of mapping out goals and strategies with individuals. He feels, if you want to go fast, go alone; but if you want to go far, go together.

A 1983 graduate of Samford University with a BA in Finance, Scott entered into the financial services industry right out of college. This year, Scott is celebrating 30+ years as a CFP®. Scott is the owner and principal of his firm after opening his own office in 1994. In 2013 he completed his AIF® Accredited Investment Fiduciary Certification. Scott also serves as the Branch Manager and Regional Director of his organization, with affiliated financial advisors around the country.

Scott is getting used to the quieter life now that his three sons are grown, however, he has no intent in slowing down. He continues to focus on CCM as two of his three sons work with him as well.  He does enjoy the best of both worlds, working in a highly intense industry during the day managing clients' portfolios, while living in the country with his wife Chrissie of 39 years at night.
