About Michael

Mike joined Commonwealth Capital Management in Louisville, Kentucky, in 2019. With more than 30 years of experience as a registered financial advisor, he is dedicated to helping clients pursue their financial goals through a comprehensive, holistic planning approach. Mike specializes in developing personalized strategies that address every aspect of a client's financial life, with a particular emphasis on multigenerational wealth planning and helping families build and preserve lasting legacies.

Mike earned a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Finance from Indiana University Southeast in 1994. He holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 registrations, as well as Life Insurance and Variable Annuity licenses. His professional designations include Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor (APMA®), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®), and Certification for Long-Term Care (CLTC®).

A proud veteran, Mike served in both the U.S. Air Force and the Kentucky Air National Guard. Outside of the office, he enjoys traveling, riding motorcycles, running, bowling, and staying active through fitness. Mike completed the 2010 Boston Marathon. He and his wife, Kim, reside in Louisville, Kentucky, after Mike spent his early years growing up in Southern California.
