About Barrett Norris

Barrett works with clients to help them create plans to pursue their financial goals, as well as to assist them in better understanding the fundamentals of their own investments.
Since 2004, Barrett has been with Commonwealth Capital Management in Louisville Kentucky. In 2007 he began assisting in duties involving supervision/compliance matters with satellite offices after attaining the Series 24 General Securities Principal registration.
Barrett attended Florida State University and graduated in 2002 earning Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Criminology. He furthered his studies by completing coursework for a Masters degree in Political Science while working with a U.S. Senator’s Office as State Scheduler and an assistant to the State Director for the Senator. He holds the Series 7 General Securities registration, Series 66 Investment Advisor registration, Life Insurance and Variable Annuity license. In 2008 Barrett completed an Executive Certificate in Financial Planning through Bellarmine University.
During his time away from the office he takes pleasure in spending time with his family, traveling, great cuisine, and the occasional round of golf. Barrett is a member of the World Affairs Council of KY and Southern Indiana (WACA) and Young Professionals Association of Louisville (YPAL).
