Lynore Yates, MSFS, NSSA, CLTC®

Lynore takes a holistic approach to financial planning, specializing in taking her clients through the cumulation of their work years, into retirement and beyond.  “Life happens, and the more prepared we are, the better”. 

Joining Commonwealth Capital Management in February of 2018, Lynore is a Registered Financial Services Professional with over 25 years of experience, specializing in financial planning, retirement investments, Medicare and Social Security planning.  Holding a Series 6, 63, 65 and 7 registrations as well as life and health insurance licenses, she provides objective and customized insurance and investment strategies to hep meet the financial goals of her clients.

A graduate of the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Lynore received her Masters of Science in Financial Services (MSFS) with The American College in November of 2017.  She also holds the CLTC designation, specializing in long term care solutions as well as the National Social Security Advisor (NSSA) which provides her with additional expertise in Social Security planning.

Prior to joining Commonwealth Capital Management, Lynore is proud to be a veteran of the United States Army, and enjoyed working as an EMT and as an instructor for the American Red Cross.  She began her financial services career as an insurance agent specializing in Medicare and long term care, and held the position of a Division Manager for Physicians Mutual, covering the states of Kentucky and Southern Indiana.  Lynore feels that her well rounded life’s experiences have prepared and given her insight to truly understand her clients and guide them through one of the most important times of their lives…their retirement. Lynore offers Retirement Planning Classes at the University of Louisville several times per year.

Family and Faith are of utmost importance to Lynore, and she is very active in her parish, St. Athanasius, spending as much time as possible with her husband, children, grandchildren and parents.  An avid outdoorsperson, she enjoys hiking, backpacking, and spending time with her German Shepherd.
