About Conrad

Conrad Newman was born and raised in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, and currently resides in the Highlands of Louisville with his two-year-old son, Henry. He is a proud graduate of both the University of Kentucky and the University of Louisville.

A former actor and lifelong lover of theatre, Conrad spent time in Los Angeles before realizing his future — and his happiness — would be found back in Kentucky. After returning to Louisville in 2009 and completing his master's degree in 2012, he taught for the Kentucky Governor's Scholars Program for three consecutive summers.

Conrad's passion and expertise for financial planning took shape when he joined Edward Jones as a Financial Advisor in 2014. He went on to spend six years with PNC Investments and PNC Bank, most recently completing a five-year run with Barnes Young Wealth Advisors / Blueprint Financial Group.

As a CFP® professional and Certified Exit Planning Advisor® (CEPA), Conrad assists clients with complex financial planning needs across all aspects of their lives. Whether it's accumulating assets for retirement, planning for a college education, navigating exit strategies as a business owner, or identifying the best way to transition wealth from one generation to the next, he understands the challenges clients face across a lifetime.

Conrad is excited to bring his experience to Commonwealth Capital Management, where he looks forward to deepening client relationships, growing his practice, and continuing to advance his career in comprehensive financial planning. He sees CCM as the ideal home for the next chapter — a firm whose commitment to personalized, multigenerational planning aligns with the way he has always served his clients.
